Adaptable and flexible Prototype design

The Kaule Prototype is designed to be built in an incremental manner - adapting to the needs and sizes of individual houses as they existed before the earthquake - with an aim to allow diversity of individual expression while maintaining strict adherence to seismic norms during construction

Once the prototype is done and approved, we intend to help the villages of Kaule and Bhangeri to re-build their 200 dwellings house by house, by acting as a catalyst in regenerating among the community a sense of self-belief and pride in their traditional skills
